Introduction

I am Pierre Hendrikx, in my daily work I specialize in the interface between structural design, execution and concrete mix design. With an educational background in structural engineering I started my career with a large contractor, where I could combine structural knowledge with engineering practice.

From personal interest concrete came in the mix, which has brought me to where I am now. With these three fields combined, I optimize the concrete building process without compromise in time, money or sustainability for ABT, the parent company of WindBASE.

What I do at Windbase

At WindBASE, I mainly focus on sustainable development of concrete in onshore windturbine foundations. By combining structural design (mass), with mix design and execution circumstances, carbon dioxide emissions can be optimized.
